All Aboard!!!

We took Reese to Rusk so we could ride the Texas State Railroad Pumpkin Express.  It was a rainy Saturday, but that didn't stop us from having a GREAT TIME!!!  They encourage passengers to dress in costume; Reese LOVES trains, so his costume was an EASY pic.  He was an engineer, of course!

 We had a GREAT time on the train!

 The ride lasted about 30 minutes, and then we arrived at the Pumpkin Express Festival...

 ...and bounced!

...trick or treated!

 ...went on a hayride!

...and got to choose a pumpkin to bring home! 

The whistle was our FAVORITE part! 

Reese was one tired little boy on the way home! 

Fall Fun!

What a great day to visit the park!!!

No Running!

Reese had a bit of an accident.  He fell into a table, which caused a cut right above his eye...

 The Monsters, Inc. bandaid helped, but he was still in quite a bit of pain.

 A quick (?) trip to the ER to see if he needed stitches.  Reese was a real trooper and was a happy kid, and he even entertained the ER staff.  He is such a great kid!!!

 He had a swollen, ugly black eye for several days, but within a week, he was looking almost like his old self!

Lesson learned, I hope!

Go Dogs!!!

Did a bit of driving so that we could watch our favorite Caitlin play a bit of volleyball!  Go Dogs!!!

A Shower in Garrison...

This church holds such a special place in my life, and now, I have one more special memory there.  

 The ladies of the church threw us an adoption shower!  Reese and I had a wonderful time and are so very grateful for everything!!!  It was a wonderful day!
