First Visit!

Jacks and Deuce got their first glimpse of the new house today!  They seemed to it; they barked at the neighbor dogs and raced all over the yards.  But they were a bit nervous too and didn't want to be too far away from our sides either.

We're working hard to get the house ready for move in, but it just seems that the "Honey Do" list is getting longer and longer!  

Duane is doing a FABULOUS job!!!

Home Sweet Home!!!

We took the leap and bought a house!  Yes, we are in debt forever and signed our names about a million-trillion times today, but as scary as it is, we are EXCITED about this milestone in our lives! 

AND, my coworkers are the BEST!  We had a true HGTV moment today because after the signing was over (complete with writer's cramp), we headed over to the house and found this: a care package of adult beverages and a beautiful plant!  What a FUN surprise!!!

Our furniture is a bit lacking, but we have big plans for the space!

Right now, everything is WHITE; we have LOTS of work planned before we move in at the end of June.

I can't believe how big the plants have gotten this spring!

We've already had one (tiny) harvest, and boy are we ready for more!

Fortunately, we shouldn't have to wait too much longer because...

The bell pepper is peppering!

The Roma tomatoes are Roma-ing!

The Celebrity tomatoes are celebrity-ing!

The cherry tomatoes are cherry-ing!

The Patio tomatoes are Patio-ing!

 And, most of exciting of all, 

the cucumbers are cucumber-ing!

A Visit From Some Prince Peeps!

Some of our very favorite Prince Peeps drove to Bryan for a visit!

There was a trip to Blue Bell Park for a bit of Aggie baseball vs LSU...

Of course, they were cheering for the correct team!

Doug's friend Jordan was able to come too!

I stayed at home and watched the game on tv, and was SUPER EXCITED to see my favorite fans on ESPN!!!

When the game was over, the guys headed out to play a round of golf.

Jordan and Doug whipped AJ and Duane pretty easily. 

It was a great weekend; we are so glad they were able to visit!
