Kitty! Kitty!

Our Christmas tree used to be beautiful, with ornaments carefully placed all over the tree. Now, there are no more ornaments on the bottom third of my tree; and I've stopped picking them up to rehang them because they are just going to end up on the floor again anyway. So, Kitty has resorted to climbing the tree to get at the dangling toys. He will be one sad kitty after New Year's when the tree gets put away!

Duddley's Christmas Party

Tuesday night, Duane & I went to the Duddley's Christmas party and participated in the white elephant gift exchange. Lots of stealing going on!!!! Duane & I kept getting to pick new gifts because our gifts kept getting stolen. My husband is a true gambling man; we could have locked up a $25 Chile's gift card.  Chile's is our favorite place to eat, and I tried to get him to steal it.  But no, he went for an unopened package instead, and it turned out to be quite the gag gift, which has already disappeared from our house!!! It was a fun night!! Thanks to Rusty for hosting the party!!!

Fall 2008 Dart Banquet

Here are a few of the pics from this season's dart tournament.  Duane's team threw well but were eliminated from the tournament in 8th place.

The Kersten Christmas Party...

Each year, our crew gets together for a white elephant gift exchange holiday party.  Usually, the Dragers host it, but this year, Duane & I had it at our house.  We had a great time playing Wii Guitar Hero and trading gifts; in fact, we were having so much fun that I forgot to take very many pics!  One thing I won't forget is how Jeremy stole my beloved gift at the end of the gift exchange.

Visiting with friends...
Watching the Aggies beat Alabama...WHOOP!

SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!

It snowed last night, and I was sad as I drove to work because I knew it would all be melted before I could get home to take pictures.  BUT, WHAT FUN...it started snowing again this afternoon and has been snowing ever since!!!

We took the animals outside for some pics.  Deuce absolutely refused to sit for a picture, but he had no problems romping & running around the yard!  Copper took it all in stride, and the crazy cat tried attacking the snowflakes as they landed on the fence!

It won't last long, but we are enjoying it while it's here!!!!!!

Santa's Wonderland!!!

On Monday night, we (The Dragers too) went to Santa's Wonderland!!!  I was the only newbie in the group, and it was beautiful, definitely worth the $$$$ spent!!!

But the most fun was watching Noah!!!  He LOVED looking at the lights.
Crystal had to hold on because he was hanging out of the window as far as she would let him!
He's a hunter in the making...every reindeer was pointed out with a loud "Buck!"
Lots of fun!!!

It's Christmastime!!!!!!

The First Casualty...

This ornament used to be on the Christmas tree, but Kitty decided to rearrange our ornaments. Apparently, he thinks the floor is in need of a few Christmas decorations.

This is Kitty's first Christmas, and he couldn't be more delighted about "his" Christmas tree.  In the few days since it has been up, he has napped under it,

attacked the ornaments,

and even attempted to climb it!!!
 It is his favorite toy!!!
