A Funtastic Fourth!

We headed to Lake Limestone with friends to celebrate the Fourth of July!  It was a FUNTASTIC trip!!!

Jacks had a great time!

Some unexpected guests showed up. 

 The lake is beautiful again!  Thank goodness it recovered from last year's drought!

Just Peachy!!!

This year, I decided to make some jam!  So, I headed to Fredericksburg to get some peaches.  I bought a bushel, and a bushel of peaches is A LOT OF PEACHES! My car smelled SO GOOD during the ride home!!!

Had to make a cobbler! YUMM-O!!!

I spent 3 days making the jam--6 batches of it! Thank goodness, Crystal came and helped; 4 hands are much better than 2!!!

A Visit to the Zoo

Duane and I took a trip to the Houston Zoo!  It was H-O-T, HOT, but we had a great time!

The Kersten Clan

Once again, the Kersten Family gathered for a family reunion!  Swimming, basketball, food, fellowship, family, and FUN! It was great seeing everyone!!!

Kaylee has joined the ranks of the real world!!!  She graduated from GHS, and we spent the weekend celebrating with family and friends!!!
