Fireworks & Fun...

It doesn't get any better than this!!

We went on our annual trip to Lake Limestone for this year's Independence Day. The weather was great, and so was the trip!

Normally, there are several people lighting fuses & running around the pier during our fireworks display; it's all very dramatic, always funny, and often dangerous, but not this year. Casey worked for over an hour to string all of our boxes together to create one steady stream of fireworks. It was (almost) flawless!!! He did a great job!

A few highlights from our fireworks show:

No trip to the lakehouse is complete without the ceremonial bath that the dogs get once we get home. Jacks was NOT happy about this at all!!!
